Christians should study the Book of Revelation because it completes the story God began in Genesis—it reveals who Jesus is now, where history is going, and why faithfulness matters. Revelation was written to encourage believers facing confusion, compromise, and pressure, reminding them that Christ is sovereign, evil is temporary, and God’s promises are sure. Far from being a book meant to confuse or frighten, Revelation strengthens hope, sharpens discernment, tells what the future holds, and calls the church to remain faithful as we live in anticipation of Christ’s coming return.
